Professional Sales Associate

Sales Department Reports to Team Leader - Sales Assigned Territory
Open Position

The Professional Sales Associate executes sales strategies and develops customer accounts within an assigned territory. The role covers customer engagement, business development, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, pipeline management, and sales follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out territory plans, product priorities, pricing guidelines, and approved sales programs.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by developing new accounts and expanding business with existing customers.
  • Build relationships across hospitals, laboratories, clinics, diagnostic centers, government institutions, and dealer or distributor accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, proposals, product demonstrations, and evaluations.
  • Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline and follow quotations, negotiations, customer decisions, and next actions through completion.
  • Monitor government and institutional opportunities, including procurement, bidding, and laboratory projects.
  • Coordinate customer requirements with Clinical and Technological Solutions, Logistics, Finance, IT, Marketing, and other teams.
  • Support collections, deliveries, and field activities when assigned by Management.
  • Report customer, market, competitor, and territory information that can improve sales decisions.
  • Continue developing product, application, market, and territory knowledge through training and independent learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Medical Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Sales experience in medical diagnostics, laboratories, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant education and strong sales potential may be considered.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Willingness to travel and conduct frequent customer visits within the assigned territory.
  • Organized, proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with the sales team.
  • Willingness to assist with accounts-receivable collection and delivery of goods when necessary and assigned.

Application Specialist

Clinical and Technical Solutions Department Reports to Team Leader - Application Specialist No Direct Reports

The Application Specialist provides application and technical support for diagnostic products. The role builds expertise in assigned product lines and supports demonstrations, customer training, equipment implementation, validation, performance testing, and application troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong product, application, laboratory-workflow, and competitive knowledge for assigned diagnostic product lines.
  • Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and customer or end-user training.
  • Support equipment implementation, commissioning, calibration, verification, validation, performance testing, acceptance, and turnover.
  • Assist customers with operation, applications, quality control, calibration, and routine troubleshooting.
  • Follow quality procedures, approved work instructions, manufacturer requirements, and documentation controls.
  • Coordinate technical and application matters with suppliers and principals through the authorized channels.
  • Support Sales with technical requirements, proposals, product comparisons, evaluations, and customer education.
  • Research diagnostic technologies, laboratory practices, competitor products, and emerging application needs.
  • Maintain current manuals, specifications, application guides, training resources, and activity records.
  • Follow applicable DOH, FDA, laboratory, quality, and regulatory requirements relevant to assigned work.
  • Complete required training, certifications, competency assessments, and continuing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
  • Registered Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Relevant experience in a clinical laboratory or laboratory setting.
  • Experience in laboratory diagnostics, IVD, medical devices, laboratory equipment, or related industries is preferred.
  • Product application, technical support, customer training, laboratory operations, or equipment evaluation experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, training, evaluations, installations, and supplier or principal activities.
